First Click on Start/Run/ and type "REGEDIT"
now do the following to find the present Product Key for windows 98
and ME installation.
This is useful if you lost you Certificate of
Authenticity, but already have windows on your system.
FOR WINDOWS ME & 98
Click on
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
then
SOFTWARE
then
MICROSOFT
then
WINDOWS
then
CURRENT VERSION (make sure this is highlighted)
the Product ID will be listed beside product key
