Well for this I will show you do the upgrade install for Microsoft Windows XP. Now follow the following steps.

  • Boot into your operating system
  • Insert your Windows XP CD
  • The CD should "AUTORUN" (if not double click on "My Computer" right click on CD-Rom drive and select "AUTORUN"

The following screen now appear, Windows XP is ready to install. Now click on "Install Windows XP" to continue.

Soon you will see the following menu. "Upgrade" is the default so leave it and  now click next.

The License Agreement will now appear, read it and click on your acceptance or disagreement, and then click next.

 (Note. if you disagree this ends the install)

Now please Type in your 25 digit Product Key, which will be on your Windows CD Case.
