Device Drivers

DRIVERS - Adding through Networks

Device Drivers

From Control Panel, double click on the Network Icon.

Now select Add from the next menu

Then from the next menu select “ADAPTER” and then click add.

You will then have an option to browse to where the drivers are located, on most occasions this will be the base directory of the CD or floppy disk, but in the example below we show a different path.

The System will then let you choose the driver that it has found on the disk.

Windows will now install the driver you have selected, once finished you will return to main network menu. Just click ok and you’ll be prompted to reboot. Reboot at this point and when you restart the Hardware will be functioning.

The installation may require files from your Windows CD so have it close at hand, just incase.

THE END
