"CD" is a basic command used Change
directories on the hard drive or backup devices.
-
"CD.." moves you back one directory (Also
known as the parent directory).
-
"CD Windows" would move you into the windows
directory (That is if you are in it's parent drive)

"CD C:\Windows" would move you immediately
into the Windows directory is it was on the C: drive.
-
"CD /?" will give you further help when
using the command.
