This guide will tell you about Microsoft Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000, ME, 98, NT,  and 95 format and installs - advantages, disadvantages and how to do it

Advantages

 

Works 99% of the time to solve Operating System problems. Or minor Hard drive problems, the only recommended way to install Windows is on a new or freshly formated Hard Drive.

   

Disadvantages

 

You loose the contents of your hard drive, make sure a backup is done before attempting this process.

 

How to do it

 

Windows 7, Vista, XP, and 2000 :

Users can use the option during their installation to Format the drive, or you may delete the drive and reset it up again. (See individual Guides from the main page www.windowsreinstall.com )

Windows NT :

The format is automatic from the NT installation.

Windows 98, ME and 95 :

Start computer up into MSDOS and type "FORMAT C:\" and then start the windows reinstallation.

Or Restart the computer in MSDOS mode and type "FORMAT C:\" and then start the windows reinstallation.
